Designing and furnishing a kitchen are important steps for any home. Especially when the kitchen space is limited and every element must be chosen carefully. For today, we propose such an arrangement model signed by designer Manuel Saliche.

Meeting the client's desire for an as efficient as possible organized space, the designer focused on ergonomics, functionality and aesthetics of the space. Having only 6 square meters at his disposal, combining the specific pieces of a kitchen was quite difficult to achieve, especially in the case of appliances.

The arrangement fits into a contemporary style, an urban Romanian one (where spaces are small and cramped) with Scandinavian influences through the simplicity of the decor, the color scheme (white is predominant) and the materials used with natural wood textures. The furniture is made of MDF painted with a glossy finish combined with oak veneer pal.

The floor is tiled with ceramic tiles inspired by natural materials, in this case oak parquet.

The element of originality in this project lies in the graphics added to the wall with the refrigerator. To break the monotony, the designer opted for a wallpaper with graphic elements from the Wall&Deco manufacturer with a theme specific to the kitchen, a splash of color whose effect was as expected, since the space seems more dynamic and cheerful.

We also like the white lighting fixture and the pots with aromatic plants, all reminding us of Scandinavian arrangements, with well-lit spaces and as much greenery as possible indoors.

Because in a small space the multifunctional character of the furniture is important for the ergonomics of the arrangement, inside the countertop we will find an extendable table that can be used both for serving a snack and as a chopping board. It is a kind of extension of the worktop, a practical idea born out of the limitations of this project.

Introducing the washing machine inside the kitchen came out of necessity, as the space of the house did not allow it to be installed anywhere else. As Manuel confirmed to us - this project was a challenge, but we tried to offer as much as possible with very little so that the client could enjoy their new kitchen.
