The arrangement of small spaces is one of the biggest challenges that a designer or interior architect can face. Integrating functionalities into a very limited space can prove to be a very difficult mission. But not impossible, we add, after seeing this home furnished in just 20 square meters.

How can you have it all in such a small space? With very good organization and creativity. From the kitchen, dining room, living room, bedroom, and storage spaces, everything is found within a restricted perimeter, even with an inclined ceiling in places.

The predominant white on the ceiling and walls reflects light and amplifies the space. Even the white wood floor helps create this effect. The chairs, table, sofa, and bed will also be found in the same white color palette. Since there is only one window that provides natural light, white amplifies the idea of spaciousness and even darker areas appear brighter.

The compartmentalization of the space helps create functional areas. The wardrobe placed at the entrance visually separates the sleeping area from the access area to the apartment, ensuring some privacy. Similarly, the table connects the conversation area with the kitchen, a smooth transition between spaces marked by an animal skin rug, a trend in vogue in recent years within interior design.

To avoid creating the impression that the elements in the house are floating, the kitchen furniture was chosen in a dark color in the spirit of the rug's shade. This gives the space depth while also being a focal point in the room. Even though the ceiling is inclined, the layout adapts to the existing conditions.

Thus, at the top of the kitchen, we will find shelves for storage instead of cabinets that would have cluttered the space and would have had to be custom-made.

Textures dress the space and give it a pleasant warmth: the floor, decorative cushions, blanket on the chair, curtains, and rug. They are also color accents that break the monotony of white.

The bathroom is not lacking in personality either. The towel set, as well as the design of the sink, the plants integrated into the decor plus the mirror frame, all these elements transform the small bathroom into a beautiful one with original notes.

What can we learn from this arrangement? That through intelligent use of space we can obtain the comfort necessary for a home, even if it is only 20 square meters, imagination and creativity being the main assets in achieving results to our liking.
