In small houses, where you enter directly into the main room, it is necessary to create a mini transition zone from the outside to the inside, without creating a break in the continuity of the space. Here's what you can do.

Think about those things that you can bring into the existing design without creating discrepancies. For example, a shelf or suspended shelf could take over some of the objects you use daily, such as apartment keys, car keys, mail envelopes, or even your purse. It is good to consider the size of the shelf here so that it is truly useful to you.

You can also opt for a small table with two drawers incorporated to increase storage space. Add a round mirror for a last touch-up when leaving home.

Another practical idea is to integrate a mini coat rack where you can store at least one garment or bag. Multifunctionality is the key word in this type of design.

To solve the shoe problem, consider purchasing a shoe cabinet that will have a double role – shoe support and storage for keys and other things we need to keep handy.

For houses with children, two rows of handles can be installed for the clothes rack. Assembled close to their level, they will be able to reach them more easily, dressing themselves or hanging up their clothes in the designated coat rack.

Play with the details that will make up the area dedicated to the entryway. Consider a wallpaper with an interesting pattern or a funny sticker that will catch the eye at the entrance to the room. You can also choose handles with a unique design, which in turn can be a point of interest.

Storage baskets are accessories that will personalize this area in a cute way, creating a pleasant feeling of home. Therefore, choose those that look good and you particularly like. It is important that all these details that will constitute the future area dedicated to the entryway are in harmony with the rest of the decor.
