Just because a piece of furniture has aged, worn out, or slightly deteriorated, it doesn't mean it should be sent straight to the trash can or put in the firewood stack. Every piece of furniture deserves a second chance, and the results you will achieve could pleasantly surprise you.
GaleriaSarah realized this and, taking an old wardrobe, she thought about how she could transform it into something modern and charming, serving its original purpose again but with a completely changed look.
Since reconditioning old furniture doesn't require a large investment – as the result may not be exactly what you envisioned – it is advisable to use DIY methods – Do It Yourself, and the costs for such a project will decrease considerably.
The old wardrobe is a mass-produced piece of furniture that almost everyone has owned, and if it's not found in our homes today, we certainly once had something similar that we got rid of at the first signs of wear and tear.
The first thing Sarah did in her DIY furniture reconditioning project was to sand the entire wardrobe very well to ensure that all signs of wear accumulated over time were removed.
After sanding, a coat of glossy paint was applied, intended to restore its former charm, combined with a fresh breath of modern, contemporary furniture.
