To optimize the surface area and respond to the beneficiaries' requirements, designers removed the wall separating the kitchen from the living room. This created a unified living area with a dining space as a transition between the two functions and furniture primarily positioned in the center of the room.
The focal point of the room is actually the dining area with its two suspended light fixtures.
The predominant chromatic palette is a pleasant one, with natural hues of yellow, gold, and white to open up and amplify the space. Textiles truly dress the decor, lending it a refined and warm atmosphere at the same time. To avoid visually overwhelming the space, furniture pieces have a reduced height, with the exception of the display cabinet placed opposite the table.
Designers used furniture to visually define the three functions of the living area. The space dedicated to conversations with the television and its corresponding furniture is separated by positioning the sofa with its back to the table. Then, the table with chairs and subsequently the kitchen area are delimited by the floor tiles. All harmoniously intertwine on a unified yellow background.
Because the kitchen is now an open space, a linear and compact layout was chosen, with a simple but functional design. Appliances are incorporated into the furniture to maintain visual unity. The front between the cabinets was finished with microcement, a modern material that is gaining increasing popularity. It can also be seen in the bathroom, excellently integrated into the decor.
The living room communicates directly with the hallway, the doors having been removed for increased circulation flow.
One of the bedrooms has been set up as a workspace with a desk and bookcase. The sofa is extendable and can be used as a bed if needed, allowing the room to function as guest accommodation.
Storage is not lacking from any room; in every space we will find wardrobes and furniture for varied storage, even in the bathroom where the bathtub has been removed.
