A modern, elegant design with airy spaces and a color palette dominated by warm colors highlighted by glamorous gold accents – is one of the latest projects completed by Cristian Patrascu Studio.
Light plays a very important role in this project, having light wells and LED strips to highlight certain materials used, furniture pieces and newly created spaces.
The 179 square meters of the apartment are distributed into four bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower and a more spacious bathroom with a bathtub, a common living-dining area and a closed kitchen with sliding glass doors with a metal frame. This communicates visually very efficiently with the rest of the space but discreetly separates the two functions.
In the shower room, the architects told us that they were inspired by the color palette of the sea in choosing the tile model; they used sand shades for the floor and walls and an accent wall in the shower with shades of blue.
The master bedroom continues the stylistic line of the entire house; here, however, an exotic note was added through the wallpaper behind the bed where the ingeniously hidden filomuro door to the master bathroom is masked.
The differences between the initial layout and the redesign signed by Cristian Patrascu Studio are huge, a living proof of how choosing the right colors and materials, along with proper zoning, can radically change the appearance of a space and implicitly the atmosphere of the home.
