We may mistakenly associate the old with degradation. 19th-century houses represent true architectural treasures of immense value to the culture of a country. We have a duty to preserve and carry this heritage as far as possible, and this 43 square meter arrangement that we propose to you today perfectly illustrates this.
The space of this dwelling was treated with respect, the details being carefully restored. The entrances to the rooms, the absolutely wonderful stove in the living area remind us of the history of the place. The entire arrangement is placed in a contemporary context, in an excellent Scandinavian style in which these decorative details simply shine.
The apartment receives plenty of natural light, which makes it more spacious, more welcoming, and warmer. The diaphanous tones of cream, beige, and gray blend harmoniously, describing a refined decor. A special role is also played by the reconditioned wooden parquet.
Considering the dimensions of the space, a minimalist furniture arrangement was chosen, with the necessary pieces for each function. The height of the rooms of 3 square meters proved to be an advantage in this case. By optimizing storage areas, the bookcase unit and wardrobe for clothes in the bedroom were incorporated into niches that go all the way to the ceiling.
