A small apartment is not as easy to furnish as it may seem. Contrary to popular opinion, a small space presents more challenges and problems than we might imagine.

We only think about the fact that, in many cases, the furniture needs to be adapted to fit the existing configuration, understanding by this even a custom execution (which involves a design, sketch, materials, labor, etc.).

It was also difficult to furnish this 2-room apartment, with a size of only 37 square meters. We are talking about a family with a child who needed the help of specialists to find the right solution for their home.

Living Room

Although from the description, the space seems cramped and cluttered, the order imposed by the geometric symmetries of the furniture pieces corrects this apartment's minus. In addition, this symmetry is interrupted by the wallpaper pattern on the wall with the sofa. We have a kind of accent wall composed of an apparently chaotic game of other geometric shapes.

It is noteworthy how the designers chose to distract attention through various elements such as pendant lights, the aforementioned wallpaper, or the print of decorative pillows and the rug in the center of the room. Also, to save space, instead of a hinged door, a sliding one was chosen.

The hallway is narrow, but nevertheless, it was possible to integrate a wardrobe with sliding doors and a shoe cabinet. The play of geometric shapes is also found in this space (see the mirror and coat rack) as well as the discreet pattern of the wallpaper, creating cohesion throughout the entire design.

Symmetry of geometry is a motif of this design
