We do what we do and we always end up in small spaces. And it seems we can't help but share them with you! So here's a new proposal from the designers of Boho Studio in this 2-bedroom apartment of only 36 square meters.
Yes, you read that right, in this space we were able to create both a bedroom with an office, a living room, and a kitchen with a dining area, all designed so that you can live comfortably without feeling cramped. Let's see how the layout was conceived.
One of the first things the designers did in this project was to remove the two doors that provided access to the living room (from the hallway and kitchen). This allowed the space to become more fluid and appear airier.
Every detail has been carefully incorporated, from the furniture to the accessories, so that the space remains consistent in its approach but above all functional in use.
Each area of the home has been optimized to the maximum through creative and practical solutions. Particular attention was paid to storage spaces, as you will see in the photos in the gallery. By making modifications to the doors, a space was created where a TV area was integrated, with shelves for various decorations.
On the other side of the living room, above the sofa, a suspended bookcase was created using long shelves. By utilizing vertical storage, floor space remains free and the room does not visually appear cluttered.
All furniture is custom-made so that the pieces integrate harmoniously; exceptions are the sofa, table and chairs, as well as the coffee table. An example is the unit that transitions to the living room, as well as the wardrobe built into a niche used for storing clothes and shoes.
The kitchen, though small, has been designed compactly and functionally to provide everything needed when cooking. The cabinets are tall, maximizing vertical storage and utilizing all walls. All pieces are white, handleless, maintaining a tidy appearance. Wood inserts at countertop level, as well as black accents, break up the monotony of the white.
