For today we chose to present you a colorful apartment reflecting personality and originality. Bold ideas and unique scenarios highlight this simple, welcoming and bright layout.
Opening the GalleryStory told in a few lines: a young family with an 8-year-old daughter lives in this two-room apartment. The parents' wish was for their daughter to have her own room and for the interior of the entire home to reflect their personality as much as possible.
Initially, they thought about transforming the master bedroom into the girl's room and the living room into a multifunctional space: guest room and bedroom.
The solution to this challenge was hiring an experienced team of designers. They came up with a unique solution: increasing the number of rooms from two to three. Thus, the 8 sq m kitchen became the girl's room, while the living room with its open space configuration harmoniously incorporated two zones: one for relaxation and one for cooking.
Living Area
The living room is the family's favorite place. The color scheme is restful: white as a base, with hints of cream, gray, yellow and turquoise. The furniture is kept minimalist, simple and airy. The room includes a TV cabinet, a coffee table and an extendable sofa.
Small decorative details manage to give the space refinement and a successful overall image. The brick wall adds elegance while the painting offers a personal touch. The decor is balanced and approached in a modern way with Scandinavian touches and is highlighted through natural light that floods in abundantly through the tall windows.
The kitchen communicates directly with the living room, forming an open space meant to unite the whole family. Simple and compact, with furniture arranged on a single side and built-in appliances, to maintain order and the unitary character of the entire space.
The biggest challenge was the girl's room, which had a surface area of only 8 sq m. The choice fell on simple furniture with plenty of storage space, including an upholstered bed and a desk placed by the window. Natural light, the omnipresent white and the straight, clean lines of the furniture are the main elements responsible for the feeling of a larger space than it actually is.
