The functional distribution of a space so that it meets the needs of an extended family consisting of two adults and two children becomes a real challenge, especially when we are talking about a two-room apartment of small size.

Starting from the basis of a Scandinavian style, the design of this home focuses largely on maximizing space and restructuring it. Once the main focus is established, the two rooms are divided equally, offering the entire surface four rooms in line with the preferences of each family member.

By adding a central rail and a curtain divider, the living room is divided into a relaxation zone and a rest zone. The rest zone is represented by a double bed and simple furniture with storage function.

The color scheme respects the Scandinavian model: gray, blue, yellow, enlivening the atmosphere, and to this are added artificial lighting components which, despite the possibility of natural light penetration, are oriented so as to ensure perfect illumination.

The second zone, the relaxation zone, is intended to be a micro-living room, a place where moments spent with loved ones can easily unfold. Once the bedroom area is hidden by drawing the curtain, the remaining space becomes favorable for guests and socializing activities, as shown by the numerous interactive games that occupy the entire space of the suspended library.

Here we find an extendable sofa and a minimalist bookcase, and the accessorizing of the space is done in an affectionate manner, with the painting featuring all four family members in an artistic-modern way standing out.

The master bedroom is dedicated entirely to the children and their activities. Following the same pattern as in the case of the living room, a central curtain creates an intimate and individual space. The furniture consists of two single beds positioned on the sides of the room, storage spaces and a desk.

The kitchen is compact and restricted, with furniture units occupying its entire surface. Although we are talking about a space dedicated to meal preparation, great importance is given to the time the children spend in it, which can be easily observed through the presence of pluses and recreational games.

The dining area has a minimalist and artistic character, transparent plastic chairs and brightly colored paintings placed on the wall offering a modern look to the entire space.
