Any apartment renovation is complex due to the work involved and especially the final result. We desire well-designed, functional, and beautifully decorated spaces to fully enjoy our homes, even if they are 45 square meters and located in a basement.

To combine functionality with aesthetics, the space was well-thought-out by designers to efficiently use every available square meter.
Considering we are dealing with a basement, meaning a lower ceiling height than a typical apartment, medium-height furniture pieces were chosen, adapted to the rooms, except for the kitchen where cabinets reach the ceiling to maximize storage space.
Often, in a basement apartment, natural light doesn't reach a satisfactory amount, so the designer must pay close attention to this factor. Without ample light, the space will appear small, cramped, and claustrophobic.
In our case, the walls were kept white and recessed spotlights along the entire apartment ensure efficient general lighting. Additionally, ambient lights in the living area provide effective lighting adapted to the activities of that zone. The orange accent wall highlights the living room space and provides a focal point.
The kitchen is located in the same room as the conversation area, practically an open space visually separated only by furniture pieces which, in our case, occupy very little floor space. Compact with a linear structure, the kitchen efficiently incorporates everything you need to cook. A small dining area is set up near the terrace exit.
Using the same type of parquet flooring ensures continuity in the design.
In the small hallway leading to the bedroom, a built-in wardrobe was created for storing clothes. Here too, we find orange accents to create unity in the design. The wallpaper covers the wall with the bed, transforming it into the focal point of the room, providing elegance and personality to the bedroom; the nightstand model is also adapted to the small space.
