Gerbera is one of the most beautiful flowers that is also extremely easy to grow, in any garden and in almost any type of soil. Considering that Gerbera is not a demanding plant, even those who do not necessarily have a passion for gardening can plant it, wanting to bring a fresh breath to their yard or garden.

Gerberas should be planted immediately after the last frost, in the garden or in pots and will bloom from mid-spring until late summer, thus creating a colorful curtain in your yard, which you will enjoy for many months of the year.

The easiest way to plant gerberas is from the seed stage, which must be introduced into well-fertilized soil or special flower soil, which can be found at any specialty store.

At the beginning of spring, the stems of the gerberas will emerge to the surface, and depending on the variety of gerbera you have chosen, they will bloom sooner or later, but regardless of the situation, in summer you will have a garden full of flowers.

These flowers need a lot of sun and will not grow optimally at temperatures below 20-21 degrees Celsius, which means that those who live in a cooler climate should keep them indoors, near a window, where they can benefit from plenty of sunshine and heat.

Gerberas are very easy to maintain, and when a flower wilts, you can cut it off, and often a new one will grow in its place. The best part is that each old flower will give new seeds, so you will be able to plant gerberas year after year in your garden, which will attract the attention of all your friends and acquaintances.

We wish you good luck planting and admiring your colorful garden!
