You all know the saying “as many houses, as many customs” and we can agree that it is very true. And even more so when it comes to interior design. Storage solutions for a family of four are not the same as those for a bachelor. People who work from home need a different layout than those who go to an office every day.
Depending on everyone's hobbies, a home must also allocate space for objects related to these hobbies and so on.
Today at GaleriaAstazi we are talking about handmade artists and we are coming to their aid with some storage and organization ideas tailored to their needs. They will have infinite boxes and hundreds full of the materials from which they make their products, utensils and many other things.
All these take up space and being so numerous and of different sizes, colors, materials, they mix up and organizing them at each work session is a huge waste of time.
So here's what you can do.
For paper rolls or colored adhesive tape, create a promise or buy a bracelet holder which will help you keep them all together and they will occupy vertical space, they won't be crammed into a box and will be easy to see, choose and use.
Use a picture frame like in the image above on which you can mount holders for string bobbins and thread.
Punch a hole in the side of a box as shown in image no. 3 in the gallery so that you can easily access any type of ribbon tape you need.
Use jars to store buttons and small spools of thin thread, and turn their lids into cushions to keep your needles.
Use a wall-mounted bathroom holder to hold all the paper and cardboard you need.
Use a few short PVC cylinders to create a figure-type structure in which you can hold all markers, pens, colored pencils and other utensils.
Use clothes hangers to organize your embroidery or sewing thread. Attach the top end between the hanger's paddles and you will never have tangled threads again.
Bathroom hooks come to the rescue again. Mount several pairs of hooks at equal distances on a wall. Place all rolls of adhesive tape, colored paper or textile materials for bows on wooden dowels and have them all organized by color, frequency of use or types of materials.
Use shelves or supports of type pegboard. To learn how to easily make these, read here.
We invite you to find all these ideas and many more in the images in the gallery above and we wish you good luck!
