Small spaces are hard to furnish. But when we think about having to furnish a small living room functionally and stylishly, the challenge seems even greater. This is because it's the room where, theoretically, we spend most of our active time and also where we receive guests.
That's why we set out today to offer you a series of tips to meet this challenge:
Choose furniture of reduced dimensions. Save space by choosing a sofa of 160 cm, maximum 180. Armchairs can also be space-consuming, so we recommend choosing a minimalist version without armrests.
The recommended furniture for small living rooms should have a depth of a maximum of 50 cm if it is located on the longer wall of the room;
Lots of white, light-colored wallpaper patterns and mirrors. It's no secret that white gives the feeling of more space; if we add a larger mirror to the wall opposite the window, the effect is guaranteed;
Use the entire length of the wall. Move furniture into the corners of the room. Although it doesn't seem like the optimal solution at first, you will notice that this actually highlights the entire length of the wall.
Use miniature plants. Natural green, in contrast with the white of the wall, creates a pleasant effect for the eye, and their small size has the same effect as reduced-size furniture.
