A true housewife fulfills many tasks for maintaining and keeping an ideal home; starting from cleaning to cooking. And to cook, you need ingredients and automatically require storage spaces for them. Therefore, a true housewife's house must also have a pantry.
Deschide GaleriaCamara is designed as a storage space for all household items that no longer fit in the kitchen, ingredient stocks, and homemade products such as tomato juice, zacusca (a Romanian vegetable spread), jams, compotes, and many other types of "jarred" food or those that need to be dried, because usually homemade production is better than store-bought.
Precisely because we are in the "food" zone, we must pay special attention to how we organize and maintain the pantry.
The conditions that a pantry must meet:
regardless of the size of the room, it is necessary to have a ventilation system or appliance
in order to be able to store as many items or food products as possible, ideally there should be as many shelves, boxes, baskets and hooks as possible
the temperature must be maintained between 4°C and 10°C
it is good for the shelves to be covered with paper, as this protects the wood (if applicable) and absorbs moisture
How we organize the placement of objects and products
Organization in the pantry is done according to the types of objects, products and food that are found in each household.
It is good for everything we have in the pantry to be divided into categories.
The dishes and objects we use less often should be placed on the upper shelves, spices in plastic casseroles, jarred products as far away from the kitchen radiator as possible, drinks on special shelves, cold cuts and products that need to be dried should be hung on hooks, vegetables should be kept in boxes (not bags), a canned food department, an ingredient department: flour, rice, pasta, cornmeal, oil, and the list can go on.
