In both fashion and interior design, there are styles and trends that gradually return to popularity, either in their purest form or in a reinterpreted manner.
The home renovation we're tackling today is heavily influenced by the 1960s, as indicated by the project name itself: 60's House.
The living area is an open space that includes the living room and a narrow kitchen which compensates for its size with style.
Cromatica develops around a natural palette of hues, specific to the 1960s, with subtle splashes of color illustrated by a mustard yellow and the raw green of suspended plants in the kitchen area or on the living room wall.
The geometric print rug is a retro influence, as are the other elements present that follow the same pattern of geometric shapes, such as the coffee tables or the edges framing planters with indoor plants.
The kitchen has a very interesting design. Compact and elegant, it offers everything needed for specific activities. The black built-in furniture contrasts interestingly with the white of the island, which also supports the worktop.
The originality of this design lies in the bar located beyond the kitchen, and particularly in how it is highlighted: a black frame with a suspended lighting fixture.
And since we mentioned lighting, we can't ignore the black light fixture, like a spider stretching across the living room ceiling. The space receives sufficient natural light, and areas without windows are well-lit by ceiling spotlights.
The bedroom, though relatively small in space, features a multifunctional layout that combines utility with the aesthetics of a custom-made canopy. The area under the bed incorporates multiple storage spaces. Thus, under the bed, we find a mini library, with books arranged on all three visible sides of the bed.
The built-in wooden wardrobes on either side of the door and window ensure efficient storage. The geometric shape of the bedside tables is an interesting addition to the bedroom's overall design. The whitewashed brick wall is a warm and modern feature at the same time. The full-length mirror mounted in front of the bed creates the impression that the space appears larger.
The bathroom is not spacious, rather narrow. The simple, clean and predominantly neutral decor, in white and grey, ensures the space has enough room to move around easily during daily morning and evening routines.
