Artist Michael Thompson and his partner, Evelyn Daitchman, an artist and vintage clothing seller, breathe and live for art, something that is extremely easy to notice once you've taken the first steps inside their home.
A very large apartment with high walls, large wide windows, and uniquely designed cement floors. The space is a near-perfect example of Chicago's authenticity from days gone by, if you were to add a bit of Andy Warhol's flair.
The kitchen is done in an open space, with vintage shelves and accessories that bring the air of a country cabin into their home, located in the heart of the third-largest city in the United States. A small old television situated in a black corner serves to complete the classic-vintage design of the apartment.
Many people desire nothing more than to escape work when they are at home, but in the case of Evelyn and Michael, who live their passion, there is no separation between work and home life.
