The transformation of this apartment caught our attention. From its existing studio configuration, the space has been transformed into a 2-bedroom apartment. How was this possible? Practically, in place of the former kitchen, a bedroom was created, with the current kitchen being arranged within the perimeter of the living room.
Open the Gallery Responsible for this makeover are the architects from Re Arch in Poland who were tasked with reconfiguring the apartment to increase its functionality and prepare it for rental. Although it may seem strange or complicated, such an approach is possible and could prove more than useful if you also live in a similar space.

To achieve this transformation, the architects made modifications to the installations, and the door and entryway space from the former kitchen are now storage spaces - two wardrobes, one intended for the bedroom and the other for the hallway.
The living room space is now an open-space type, with a kitchen and dining area. To avoid overcrowding this new layout, a simple, minimalist decor was chosen with few pieces of furniture.
The transition from one function to another is discreet, the only delimitation in the room being a medium-height partition that separates the technical space of the kitchen from the rest of the living room, providing the right space to mount the television. Excellent idea!
The kitchen follows a linear, compact configuration. The simple design, with white, allowed for some color accents at the countertop level (see gray laminate) and the colored glass panel between the upper cabinets and the main ones. Blue is the chromatic motif developed coherently throughout the entire design.
For the new bedroom, the layout follows the same minimalist line. The bed occupies a large part of the room, so the rest of the space is left free for circulation. The bedside table and suspended shelves offer a minimum necessary for storage, complemented by the wardrobe arranged in place of the former kitchen entrance. Small decorations and accessories pleasantly personalize the room.
