We are declared fans of the Scandinavian style! Whenever we encounter such arrangements, we present them on the pages of the site for inspiration. Although the features of this style are easily recognizable, each project is unique through its approach and personality. Here, therefore, is a new Scandinavian-style interior design, this time from Poland.
The 60 square meter apartment was designed for a young woman who loves to travel and, of course, Scandinavia is among her favorites. It's no wonder that her home has been shaped in the spirit of these Nordic arrangements.
What did the young woman want from her new home? First of all, open, bright spaces and, above all, functional ones. She turned to Karolina for help to create a design together that suited her needs. Thus, some of the walls were removed, creating the open space that includes the kitchen, dining area and living room.
The second bathroom was eliminated, enlarging the first one, and storage spaces were created, including a dressing room. White predominates as a base, with accents of grays and blue tones that add depth to the arrangement. White exposed brick textures have been added.
Although there are no physical partitions, the functions in the living area intertwine harmoniously, each being well utilized. The U-shaped kitchen configuration ensures a compact cooking and storage area, with built-in appliances. The bar-type unit, which also includes wine storage spaces, ensures a delimitation between the kitchen and the rest of the room.
The dining area is located next to the kitchen but near the window. The lighting fixture with a slightly industrial design, as well as the paintings with memories from the young woman's travels, make this sector of the house stand out. It is practically a function in itself, wonderfully highlighted.
The living room is small and approached as a conversation area with a reading nook next to the bookcase unit. This unit also ensures the delimitation of the living area from the hallway space.
The bedroom was designed for relaxation, with white, light gray tones and blue accents. The world map stencil placed on the wall opposite the bed reminds us of the beneficiary's passion.
