Peaches are incredibly delicious fruits and that's why we want to quickly and efficiently show you how to plant a peach tree at home, starting from a seed.
Pear trees are among the least demanding fruit trees and need a cooler environment to thrive and be highly productive. To start planting a pear tree from seeds, you first need a pear. It seems simple so far, doesn't it? It is!
When it comes to planting a tree and growing it from the seed stage, you need to keep in mind that it's a numbers game and you should plant multiple seeds, as not all of them will germinate.
After removing the seeds from 2-3 pears, dry them in the sun on a napkin for a day or two. Once they are dry to simulate the effect of winter passing – as pear trees are usually planted in autumn – it is recommended to place the seeds in a plastic vacuum bag in the refrigerator.
At a temperature of 4 degrees Celsius, the seeds will acclimate to "winter," after which you can remove them from the refrigerator and introduce them into a mix of fertile soils. Water them very well, especially in the first few weeks, until they germinate and the first leaves appear.
