Lanterns are a simple idea to transform any birthday or celebration into a truly special occasion. You can even make your own lanterns to adorn a table or create a truly unique decor.
You will need cardboard, a template pattern, and a knife or cutter to create unique decorative objects. You can also use glass containers, a bowl, or a jar on which to attach the patterned paper. Don't forget double-sided adhesive to make your task easier.
Select a template pattern and print it. Then transfer it onto the working paper or cardboard. With a sharp knife, cut out the pattern and gently fold it to highlight the design.
If you find glasses or other unused glass containers in your kitchen, give them a new purpose and use them in your lantern project. Fold the paper and place it on the selected glass support. Glue the corners with adhesive and voila, the lanterns are ready.
Place a candle in the center and the decor is ready to welcome your guests.
