Carrots are an easy vegetable to plant and grow. Given that the results of planting carrots are seen immediately, the whole process will be a very pleasant and satisfying one for any gardener, beginner or experienced.
The simplest way to plant carrots is to buy carrots themselves from the store, then cut them and replant them.
The first step is to take the carrot and cut it 3-4 cm away from the leafy end. After cutting the carrot, also cut the leaves until they remain at a height of 1-2 cm, so that the new plant has the necessary energy to grow.
Once the carrot and leaves are cut, make sure the cut side is straight, as it will be easier to plant in the ground once it develops roots. After making sure you have completed the first steps, take 4 toothpicks and gently insert them into the carrots, to create a system to hold the new plant in a glass of water.
