We are in the midst of strawberry season. Market stalls are loaded with these delicious fruits; it's enough to stroll among the mounds of strawberries and smell their unmistakable aroma to convince you to buy some. Strawberries are very healthy, they contain vitamins and minerals, and are rich in antioxidants.

The strawberry (Fragaria × ananassa) is a plant belonging to the genus Fragaria in the Rosaceae family, it has an aerial stem and the leaf is oval with a serrated edge. The fruit is called a strawberry, it is red in color, fleshy, fragrant, and sweet.

If you live in a house with a yard and are thinking of setting up a small garden to grow strawberries, we have a suggestion for you: PVC pipes. In the video below you can see how well these plants can grow in such a limited space.

To create such a garden, you will need the following materials and tools:

a PVC pipe with a diameter of approximately 20 centimeters;

a drill and metal drill bit to make the holes in which the strawberries will be planted;

pieces of wood to cover the sides of the pipe;

compost;

strawberry stolons.

Once you have decided where you want to set up your garden, all that's left is to get started. Make the holes in the pipe, cover the sides of the pipe with planks and fill the pipe with soil. Carefully insert the strawberry stolons and water them regularly.
