Have you ever imagined what a kitchen of 3 or 4 square meters We don't have them either. However, they do exist in various types of apartments or studios. Here are 2 examples of such arrangements from which to draw inspiration.

Both kitchenettes required a redesign to optimize their limited space.

If your 6 or 7 square meter kitchen ever felt small, let's see what could be done with one that's only 3 square meters. One of the first changes was to replace the flooring. Laminate parquet was installed over the existing tiles (a compromise solution), which reduces space fragmentation and also brings warmth to this area, increasing comfort.

Because the previous space was cold and dull, a pop of color was chosen to brighten it up and give it a more feminine touch. A solution as creative as it is affordable was used: several coats of red-cyclamen paint were applied over the existing ceramic tiles.

All furniture and work surfaces were kept white so that the colorful braid stands out.

The furniture layout is in an L-shape, maximizing storage space. Instead of tall cabinets reaching the ceiling, you'll find a long shelf above the countertop, the perfect spot to liven up the kitchen with colorful accessories, spice jars, frequently used glasses or mugs.

The space thus remains airy, with storage concentrated in the lower part of the area.

The second kitchen, with an area of 4 square meters, faces the same problem of being too small, non-functional, and unattractive.

After the renovation, the changes are noticeable. The walls were painted white to enhance the brightness of the room and spotlights were integrated for efficient overall lighting. The tiles and ceramics were kept as they were in good condition.

Storage spaces have also been improved with new L-shaped furniture and a sink placed under the window. The white, glossy front of the cabinets changes the atmosphere, and removing the table makes the space appear more cohesive and less cluttered. Small themed decorations enliven the space and make it more enjoyable to use.

We liked the idea of enhancing the refrigerator's appearance with a themed sticker on both the doors and sides.

The overall changes have positively transformed both kitchens. Which makeover did you like best?
