Any small bathroom can be beautifully decorated with the right details and accessories. We know it's not an easy task, but by following our tips and advice, you will be able to enhance your bathroom space, no matter how small it is. Here are some helpful tips.

Visually separate areas with ceramic tiles in neutral shades such as white or cream with a matte finish. Do not mount the tiles all the way to the ceiling. You will unnecessarily burden the already small bathroom space; mount the tiles only in splashing zones, such as the bathtub or sink. Choose a good quality washable paint for the rest of the wall surfaces.

Replace the bathtub with a shower cabin that is more friendly to the small space of your bathroom. You will notice that you will gain more space this way.

Play with contrasts! Use bands of ceramic tiles to break up the monotony of the same type of tile. You can choose shades of brown, black or even green.

Don't ignore the floor either. Choose light shades that will amplify the feeling of spaciousness in the bathroom.Designers recommend models of ceramic tiles that imitate wood in color and texture. With such a combination you will be able to further warm up the space and give it a pleasant, relaxing note.

If you are going for an unconventional shower area (without a classic cabin), choose to separate it with glass panels or clear doors, or at most with translucent surfaces. The transparency of these materials will create an elegant image and a clean, fluid, uncluttered look.

If there is a bidet, get rid of it. If you intend to install one, we recommend that you don't, as it will take up valuable space in the bathroom. Instead of a classic pedestal sink (which is completely impractical), consider a washbasin that includes both the sink and a mini cabinet for storage. Another solution could be wooden shelves (treated to resist moisture) placed under the sink.

This way, products can be grouped into small wicker boxes and towels can be rolled up in this area. And since we're talking about storage, consider creating niches above the sink or next to the shower to gain more space by eliminating any cabinets.

Create a focal point that will draw the eye. You can do this with the tile bands mentioned above, through color combinations or with a mosaic tile pattern. Be careful not to use the mosaic pattern on the entire wall, but only on a restricted area, as you will overload the already cramped bathroom space.

The floor should not be ignored either. Choose light shades that will amplify the feeling of spaciousness in the bathroom. Designers recommend models of ceramic tiles that imitate wood in color and texture.
