We've been focusing on kitchen renovations, so today we have another great project for you to follow and use as a source of inspiration.
Seeing the before-and-after images shows that the changes were positive and that the renovated kitchen doesn't really resemble the old one anymore (maybe just the flooring).
The transformations are evident and welcome. The new furniture with white fronts instantly changes the entire look of the kitchen, creating a much brighter and more welcoming space. The previous brown was an unfortunate choice that didn't benefit the overall design.
Both the main cabinets and the overhead cupboards were replaced, including the countertop which can be used efficiently. The cooking area, with the stove and oven, was moved to the window with a corresponding hood (of course, a new built-in model).
The orange color of the walls was changed to white, and the area between the cabinets was clad with gray ceramic tiles. For added light needed when cooking or washing dishes, LED strips were installed just below the overhead cabinets. This way, the entire new decor is highlighted in a pleasant way.
We also love how the dining area was designed, with new pieces and lighting fixtures well integrated into the new renovation context. Small details like decorations or kitchen-specific accessories give it an easy Provençal touch, even towards a rustic-modern style.
The goal wasn't to achieve a specific style but rather a functional renovation with personal elements to the family's taste. In addition to the furniture and painting aspects, the decorations are delightful and harmoniously integrated into this kitchen.
We hope this kitchen renovation inspires you and that the ideas you find here are helpful!
