Why do we love Brasov? Because it makes us want to live there? Because it makes us come back? Because it's an "escape" distance from the Capital? Or for its beautiful interiors that welcome us?

Located in a new, elegant building yet well integrated into the streets of Old Brasov, this small attic apartment exudes tranquility whether you want to relax or work from home.

Through well-structured furniture, the space is larger than you expect from a 40 square meter apartment. An open living room, a dining area overlooking the large terrace, an L-shaped kitchen with views of the surrounding hills, all invite you to spend time there.

“As usual, the space gave me ideas and influenced me. I was planning one thing and positioning furniture and objects differently when I was in the apartment. Naturalness was the main reason for the design,” architect Alexandru Bucur from Interiology tells us about his project I L OF T Brasov.

Furnished in a very short time and on a calculated budget, fine accents managed to create a Nordic, masculine interior to the owner's liking.

The accents aimed to capture the city's most precious asset: its proximity to nature. The decorative tree panel, which is a recurring motif in Alexandru's latest designs (we also encountered it in this design), or the "ever green" moss, sensitive to humidity, which is the living element of the house.

The hexagon is the most beloved shape in this design: bathroom mirrors, living room shelves, lighting fixtures, all are contoured like this, reinforcing the idea of nature in relief.

“I recovered two old chests from a friend's attic, which I sanded, oiled with colored oil, mounted metal legs on them and now they serve as seats: one at the dining area, the other on the terrace.”

In the sleeping area, the design maintains the minimalist tone adopted in the living room; the wooden bed was intentionally shortened in height to avoid visually overloading the room.
