Many of the apartments I've encountered don't offer a very generous space for the bedroom. I know, you'll say that you don't need much more than that for a room where you only sleep and which you barely use during the day. However, we must carefully approach the design in order to obtain a comfortable bedroom that is also balanced in terms of decor.

Opening the GaleriaPatul, the centerpiece of the bedroom will be the piece that draws the eye upon entering the room, but a mirrored wardrobe or luxurious drapes can also play this role. What matters is the balance established between all the elements that will make up the bedroom.

Since we're talking about a small sleeper sofa, there are a few things to consider.

One of these is maintaining as airy a layout as possible, without bulky furniture that would suffocate the room. Around the bed there should be a minimum distance of 40 cm so that it can be easily accessed. You can forego classic nightstands in favor of simple shelves.

Choose a minimalist style, like Scandinavian interiors, which prioritize simplicity and functionality without compromising the comfort you desire from a bedroom. Rely on natural wood essences that, combined with white or pastel shades, can help you create a pleasant and restful atmosphere. For an extra touch of style, consider creating an accent wall.

A neutral background allows you to explore with various textures, prints, or decorations that personalize your décor.

Take advantage of natural light! It helps the space appear larger. Depending on the room's orientation, choose the right curtains and/or drapes. If the room receives little light, don't block it with thick materials, but rather opt for some fine, white, translucent curtains.

Shiny surfaces, such as glass or mirrors, will help you visually enlarge the space. Keep these details in mind when choosing finishes for the room, as well as bedroom furniture. For example, you can choose a wardrobe with mirror-covered doors positioned on the wall opposite the windows so that it reflects light and amplifies the sense of spaciousness.
