Small spaces in our apartments often put us in difficulty when it comes to storage. To successfully solve this dilemma, we must maintain a pragmatic and perhaps creative approach regarding the integration of a wardrobe or the arrangement of a dressing room.

We are used to the idea of a clothes wardrobe arranged in the bedroom, but solutions can be extended to other rooms, such as the living room or hallway. We could also add the idea of a walk-in closet for those who live in a 3 or 4-bedroom apartment, but today we will not refer to this aspect.

One of the most important things to consider is adapting to the space we have available. If the room is small and/or narrow, we will take this into account and choose a wardrobe model that fits the room's space. An oversized model will shrink the room and suffocate it. We don't want this, especially in the bedroom.

Keep in mind that you need at least 70 cm between the bed and the wardrobe to be able to move around.

But let's think a little outside the bedroom. In the case of a long hallway equipped with a pantry, for example, we could proceed to rearrange it and transform it into a dressing room that can prove more than useful. You will have space for thick winter clothes or maybe for duvets and pillows.

You can also store your trolley or bulky travel bags here; by compartmentalizing intelligently, you could find space for the family's shoe boxes that you are not using in the current season.

A dressing room in the living room could also prove to be very useful. Arranged near the entrance to the room, possibly on the wall opposite the windows. You could choose to have the doors covered with mirrors so that you create the illusion that the space is larger. At the same time, the mirrors will reflect natural light and the space will appear more spacious and brighter. Remember this!

If the bedroom has a more difficult configuration, such as long and narrow ones, you can opt for a delimitation with a false wall and thus arrange a walk-in dressing room that can be compartmentalized as desired.

To allow natural light to penetrate this space, the partition wall can be one with a glass structure, similar to a window, or semi-transparent for a touch of intimacy.

To help you, we have made a selection of wardrobe models in the photo gallery above, from which to draw inspiration for your own arrangement. The models can also be made to order, so you can choose your own finishes, colors and especially the interior compartmentalization.
