This wonderful apartment is located in the center of Cluj city, in Unirii Square, in a beautiful building dating back to the 19th century. Originally, it was the studio of a painter. Today, the 70 square meter apartment has been completely renovated and transformed into a welcoming home.

The space has been renovated in a minimalist style, with a simple color palette consisting of the black and white duo and the naturalness of wood. Some of the furniture pieces in this apartment are original and have been restored in the Art Nouveau style.A captivating exploration of Art Deco design, its origins, evolution, and enduring influence on architecture, fashion, and decorative arts. The space is brought up to date with the help of modern and contemporary details.

The 70 square meters are divided between a dining area, a living room, a kitchenette, a bathroom, and a bedroom.

It is worth noting how they chose to preserve the original destination footprint of this space, using an easel as a television stand. This was painted white to complement the contemporary style table placed contrastingly on a richly ornamented rug.

This elegant way of blending two completely different eras continues throughout the entire apartment. The modern bar has a wooden countertop in the same shade as the furniture, and the sink is integrated into a tall toilet table with a mirror. The bathroom is a delightful play between black and white, with a freestanding bathtub painted black on the exterior complementing the floor, while the rest of the room is an immaculate white.

The bedroom is minimalist and very sparse in detail. Here too, an easel is kept behind a low stool serving as a nightstand. In the dining area, we encounter the first colors present in the table accessories, where the designers have decided to alternate white with the natural color of wood for the classic chairs.
