Located in a residential building constructed in the mid-20th century, in the heart of the capital, near km 0, the apartment has an ideal location for visitors to the city and the beneficiaries took this into account when deciding to list it on the Airbnb platform and include it in the tourist circuit.

The transformation of the 100 square meter apartment, initially arranged in a living area, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms, took place considering both aesthetic and functional, ergonomic requirements.

Clients wanted the style to be inspired by the industrial one, with a raw look, with a strong personality, avoiding the feeling that it is too empty or cold. We can define it as a modern style, with industrial influences; metal decorative accents contrast harmoniously with the soft textures of the curtains, sofas, and dining chairs.

The two bedrooms, each with a double bed, together with the sofa bed in the living room and the sofa in the dining area, can accommodate up to eight people. The apartment was thus prepared for larger groups of guests; clients ensuring that they have all the necessary comfort both for individual spaces and common ones.

“The last renovation of the apartment had been done more than 10 years ago, so the transformation process was a laborious one, all the more so as the beneficiaries wanted to optimize and maximize the space as much as possible.

Therefore, minor layout changes allowed for the creation of an additional bathroom – thus, the apartment now has three bathrooms, two of which are equipped with showers.”

The welcoming, relaxing atmosphere is also ensured by the multiple options for using the space, among which the star is the bar area, with luminous letters from Fabrica de Litere and bar stools purchased from Vida XL. The generous sofa in the living room, the dining area, and the balcony with a fascinating view of the city successfully complete the list.

The key point of the design is the graffiti wall in the living room (made by Toybox), behind the sofa. Designers tell us that the graffiti "frames the sofa and functions as an element that crowns the entire arrangement and is proof that we wanted the apartment, despite industrial influences, to remain a colorful one.

To define the desired style, the finishes and details of the furniture pieces were carefully chosen. Thus, we find apparent brick cladding, raw-looking wood, recycled wood, and chipboard with a concrete look used for the custom-made furniture (Triaxis Mob).
