Ubiquitous in our homes and increasingly more powerful, the internet still doesn't reach directly through the air into our home computers.
Until a few years ago we used to hide the cable around the house which most of the time ended up under the desk with a switch from where, surprise, other cables sprouted towards the computers! Thus, any attempt to mask the entire assembly was most often impossible.
The evolution of technology has managed to replace the switch in most homes with a wireless router. However, focusing on technological advancement, router manufacturers don't always manage to offer models that can be exposed in the house without ruining our decorating efforts.
So we searched and found some ingenious ideas for hiding or integrating the router that can be adapted to almost any decor. It is very important, however, to read the instructions of your wireless device and to consider the space needed for ventilation and the materials near which it can be mounted so as not to affect the signal.
Hiding the wireless router
The most elegant method we found is hiding the router in a storage box, which was previously drilled on the wall side for cable insertion. For good ventilation in this enclosed space, you can use a box with ornamental holes on the sides. See more images in the gallery for inspiration.

Another method, also elegant and practical, is inserting the router between the cardboard covers of a book, whose pages have been removed (see gallery).
Inserting the router into a drawer of furniture is another fairly common method. However, you need to consider the space needed for ventilation. Therefore, it is preferable to choose a drawer with a large enough volume and which also has air vents.
