After many years in which the spaces of our homes were dominated by massive furniture, the need for more airy arrangements comes somewhat naturally. Even in small spaces we notice a more relaxed approach, focused on functionality and truly necessary things. We live in new times to which we adapt more or less willingly. Surely, many of these changes are beneficial. That's how we like to believe.

For today, we propose an arrangement that supports the above statements. We are talking about a 3-room apartment with a simple, clean and harmonious decor with an emphasis on common spaces. It is an example of an arrangement with an open plan kitchen, with a living area that includes the living room, dining area and kitchen in a single room.

We like the minimalist approach that designers have taken with the spaces. The focus is on ambiance rather than furniture. The living room is bright and airy, each area being discreetly delimited, and transitions are natural. Important are the moments spent together, so the beneficiaries did not concentrate their energy on a too complex arrangement.

The furniture pieces are limited to fulfilling their function – the sofa in the conversation area, the table with chairs in the dining area and in the kitchen, compact furniture equipped with what is necessary for cooking.

Accessories that complete the arrangement personalize the functions described above. See how the rug visually unites the pieces - the sofa, coffee table and console under the TV, creating a pleasant and comfortable frame. The suspended light fixtures in the dining area highlight this sector of the room, while the wallpaper on the wall visually brings these areas together.

The bookcase behind the table with shelves of different heights plays the role of a delimiter between the room and the hallway. Practically, by positioning it at the entrance to the room, the space is not attacked by massive, tall furniture.

For the kitchen, a compact approach was chosen, with furniture arranged in an L shape, with storage cabinets concentrated in the lower part. Appliances are built-in to maintain the visual unity of the room.

White predominates, with gray accents and natural wood essences intended to bring warmth to the arrangement. Small pops of color come from accessories and decorations that brighten up the space.
