A Scandinavian design enthusiast, the owner of this studio apartment desired an interior that incorporated typical elements of Nordic design. They enlisted the help of a decorator to advise them on furniture and finish selections.

The apartment is available for rent in a hotel regime, hence the need to create a comfortable and pleasant space, which also includes a separate sleeping area beyond a sofa bed. Additionally, they wanted to furnish the kitchen so that guests staying for longer periods could cook and dine comfortably.

In the main room, a conversation area was defined, as well as a sleeping space with a comfortable bed. The room is not very spacious, but the stylistic choices successfully compose a functional space. In keeping with the Nordic style, gray predominates in this design, with black accents and a white background to chromatically balance the space.

The use of wallpaper in the sleeping area created an accent wall that highlights this mini-bedroom.

For the kitchen space, a dramatic approach was taken – black furniture. The black-and-white contrast adds elegance to the design, while the wood flooring and countertop warm up the atmosphere.

Decorations and accessories add personality to the design, whether in the living room or the kitchen. Excellent choices were also made for the hallway wallpaper and the bathroom floor tiles.
