Investments in photovoltaic parks are a subject increasingly debated, especially online. The companies that own such parks promise considerable returns for those who invest, and without too much hassle.
Photovoltaic parks are, besides being trendy, also a subject debated and considered an investment opportunity.
The companies building such parks are constantly looking for investors and promise yields much higher than if the money were kept in the bank or invested, for example, in real estate.
If banks offer interest rates of up to seven percent per year for deposits of at least 12 months, and an apartment rented out produces a taxable income of approximately five percent of its purchase value per year, the companies involved in the construction of photovoltaic parks and the production of electricity from solar energy promise a return between ten and forty percent per year, with contracts of 20 years.
Thus, after a simple calculation, for 10,000 euros invested, a bank gives interest of 600, maximum 700 euros, while the investment in photovoltaic parks earns the investor somewhere around 1,500 – 2,000 euros per year.
Considering that the investment in a photovoltaic park can start from a few hundred thousand euros and go up to several million euros, depending on its size and the materials used, many companies looking for investors for the development of new photovoltaic parks already send offers by email to firms or individuals to attract new partners.
However, be careful, as in any field, there are also "ghost companies" that take the money and disappear.
Therefore, before signing any contract and especially before transferring the money, you need to check the company very carefully – what its history is in the field, what other parks it has built, if it has the permits for the construction of the park, if it is the owner of the land on which the photovoltaic park is to be located.
Also, a future investor in photovoltaic parks should know what materials will be used in the park they want to invest in, thus ensuring their income for as long a period as possible (photovoltaic panels can have a lifespan of up to 25 years, but they must be of good quality).
Another aspect is maintenance. The developer company must ensure complete maintenance so that the investment is safe and profitable. Last but not least, it is important to consider insurance for the park in case of any situation – theft, destruction, fires, weather phenomena, etc.
