Hotels have extremely diverse and innovative designs, aiming to differentiate themselves as much as possible from the competition. In hopes of attracting as many customers as possible, the architecture of these buildings, as well as the interior design, stand to gain alongside happy tourists who relax in a dreamlike landscape with increased comfort.
Located in the city of Ixtlahuaca in Mexico, Hotel Ixtla gets its name from the word used by locals to name the city they come from. The hotel's name comes from the Nahuatl people and means plain or treeless area.
In public areas, the reception, restaurant, and bar, the color palette selected for the interior design of the hotel is a combination of neutral colors, white and beige with strong red accents. This color combination was also used in the design of the restaurant and the creation of the bar's design in the hotel.
A geometric wooden wall separates the different areas in the apartments intended for tourists, which increase the degree of intimacy. Brown is found everywhere in the interior design of the hotel, including on the hallways that guide tourists to their rooms, offering a welcoming and warm atmosphere, similar to a mountain cabin.
For the rooms, a variation of the color palette was implemented, replacing the red color with a very light lime green to energize the overall look. The centerpiece of the room is the bed, framed in a massive wooden canopy that extends all the way down to the floor, creating a magnificent platform.
The indirect lighting that sets the atmosphere in the room is perfectly matched by custom-made paintings with sensual floral motifs.
A delight for your special vacations!
