Household items that can interfere with the router signal
1. Water tanks
When water is present in substantial amounts, it can effectively block or diminish the strength of the Wi-Fi signal. This phenomenon is not limited to indoor settings but extends to outdoor environments as well, especially during rain, when water droplets can partially absorb the signal, resulting in reduced coverage.
2. Metallic objects and mirrors
Router placement matters more than you think. If the router is positioned near a large mirror or other reflective surfaces, the signals it emits can bounce off these objects, causing interference. This interference can lead to signal loss, and devices struggle to establish a stable connection even when they are physically close to the router.
