When the space we have available is small, we certainly have to prepare for compromises. For the project that we chose to present today, these consist of giving up the living room and balcony and transforming them into a bedroom and office (study area), respectively.
Opening GaleriaAnna Elina, the designer who took care of the interior design, we can say that she successfully fulfilled her tasks. The result is a bright and pleasant setting, a design that conveys a relaxing atmosphere and a space dominated by a special comfort. Stylistically, the interior design follows a modern line with slight classical and Mediterranean influences.
Combined with artistic accents, the whole assembly transmits a unique expressiveness.
Storage spaces have been thought out in every room: on the hallway we find a dressing room, in the kitchen tall cabinets up to the ceiling were chosen, in the mini office there are both closed cabinets and shelves for files, and in the children's room, with a little imagination, wardrobes and special boxes for toys were placed under the girls' beds.
In the kitchen Anna opted for compact furniture with built-in appliances, keeping everything as unified and organized as possible. Light cream shades were used chromatically to amplify the feeling of spaciousness. This seems more spacious also due to the removal of the balcony doors.
In the newly obtained space, a work area was integrated, used by parents for working from home when necessary.
The matrimonial bedroom inspires elegance and refinement. The bed is positioned centrally and in a successful symmetry it is joined by two bedside tables and two lamps. The wallpaper with gold details manages to bring interest and a feminine touch. A makeup area was successfully integrated near the window.
In the children's room, initially the living room, on a predominantly white background turquoise and pink shades were introduced, both in the walls and in the existing accessories. The storage areas are numerous and offer space for both clothes and toys. Emphasis was placed on natural light for daily activities and reading, which manages to reach every corner of the room.
