In any apartment, each room is important by the function it fulfills within the dwelling. We need a kitchen as much as we need a bathroom, bedroom or living room. And to enjoy each one efficiently, you need proper furnishing.

Manuel Salichea understood his clients' needs perfectly when they asked him to support them in furnishing their apartment, especially the living room and kitchen. Being part of a new residential complex, the living room and kitchen formed a single unit, an open space.

Their main desire was to close off this kitchen and with it the smells that would invade the entire room every day with the cooked meals.

We are talking about a 16 square meter living room and a 6.5 square meter kitchen that were transformed into self-contained rooms by integrating two false walls and two sliding doors separating the rooms. Through these changes, a hallway was also created, which did not exist before, the entrance to the apartment being directly into the living room.

However, the two functions communicate directly through the furniture that makes the transition from the entrance to the home towards the living room.

The furnishing concept proposed by Manuel fits wonderfully on the existing configuration and dimensions. Comfort and aesthetics combine harmoniously in neutral tones finishes, natural wood, greys and relaxing beiges. The space breathes a contemporary air, where aesthetic solutions come to complement the newly created functions.

Touches of color, contrasts of textures and prints, as well as combinations of metallic elements, are just some of the features that shape this furnishing. A trend we have encountered in many furnishings is the cladding of a wall with parquet pieces (natural oak).

In our case, Manuel manages to create a wonderful accent wall that integrates into the context of the elements chosen for the decor, without creating a discordant note. The black shelf on the wall stands out thanks to the decorations it supports.

Furniture pieces with MDF painted finish ensure storage needs without visually cluttering the room. To achieve this effect, the bodies are of medium height, and the glossy white reflects light and creates an effect of enlarging the space. The bookcase body extends towards the entrance door, ensuring the continuity we mentioned earlier.
