What makes an apartment ideal for a bachelor? Some believe that a bohemian, slightly industrial or minimalist vibe, spiced up with a bar in the living room and minimal but massive furniture are indicators of a predominantly masculine home. Others consider a poorly equipped kitchen and clutter to be the hallmarks of a bachelor's apartment. The truth, however, lies somewhere in between.

A bachelor apartment is often a space that exudes freedom, independence, strength, and good taste.

The GaleriaLoft presented in the images above was created by the PMK+Designers firm in Taiwan. Indeed, the overall aesthetic is industrial; observe the unfinished aspect of the ceiling, the pendant lamps, and the way they are mounted, which mimics a simple series circuit learned in physics class.

Perhaps the most elegant detail is the sliding doors that open onto the veranda, where a splendid reading nook or coffee spot has been created for peaceful afternoons.

The bathroom is designed with clean lines, featuring a massive marble countertop with an integrated sink and large, tall mirrors. In the house, outlets are mounted in the floor, an interesting detail to note, though it might have been preferable for them to be more seamlessly incorporated and flush with the flooring.

The dining chairs encircling the table are made of metal and pluta, a relatively new combination that looks very good.

Although undeniably masculine, this apartment doesn't lack feminine touches, such as the standing mirror in the living room, the preference for white pillows on the balcony, and the plants throughout the house.
