I found a very nice layout for you today. I think many of those who live in studios or one-room apartments will find ideas to be inspired by.
The key word here is functional simplicity. Alexey, the owner of this 33 square meter studio apartment, wanted the interior design to focus on comfort. Due to the nature of his job, he travels a lot, which explains the minimalism adopted in this layout.
We also learn from him that the apartment needed a serious makeover, which involved enlarging the kitchen and bathroom and a major intervention at the balcony level. Designed in the spirit of Scandinavian design, this apartment pleases through the prism of natural light, wood and color accents that animate and bring life to the layout.
The oak essence found in the structure of the parquet, but also in some furniture pieces, prints a note of warmth to the space, bringing it closer to nature. The yellow curtain and the couch cover in a yellowish-green are two very pleasant color spots.
The sofa is extendable as there is no separate sleeping area. You will probably recognize many IKEA pieces (shelves, coffee table, desk), which proved useful for Alexey as he managed to keep costs at a decent level.
Interesting are also the prints on different textiles: black stars on the white curtain or the geometric pattern on the rug in the center of the room (identical pattern found on one of the two puffs in the room).
Instead of a classic bookcase, the designer opted for mounting shelves one after the other on the wall, from the window towards the wall. An ingenious idea to put into practice for a studio apartment without taking up too much space.
The color scheme goes towards warm, open colors. The walls have a very light gray, almost imperceptible. A splash of color, as a method of highlighting the respective area, is the wallpaper used on the wall with the desk.
