Minimalism is a trend we hear more and more about in recent years. Perhaps the lack of more generous spaces or a desire to transform our homes has led to this style receiving more attention from designers, and beneficiaries adopting it in one form or another.
Therefore, we propose that you explore the layout of this 58 square meter apartment and see how much you could identify with such an approach.
GaleriaSpatiul was designed for a beneficiary who spends many hours at work; perhaps this is where the desire for a home as simple and tidy as possible comes from. As much as possible, she wanted the layout to be as bright as possible, and the areas as little fragmented as possible.
The result is an apartment with smooth transitions from the kitchen to the hallway and living room, with many straight lines and glossy white finishes that reflect light and create a sense of spaciousness.
Since interior walls could not be removed from the apartment, the designers opted for an unusual solution: they removed the door from the kitchen and the one from the living room, and rounded the walls at the ends towards the two functions.
In addition, to create a connection between them and enhance the effect of continuity, they painted the walls with stripes in different colors, in a range from dark at the bottom to lighter at the top. The effect is amazing! In a space with a lot of white, these colorful accents break up the monotony and manage to cheer up the decor.
The furniture is minimal, with an emphasis on the strict essentials. The corner sofa and TV cabinet along with two decorative pieces make up the living room. The bedroom was extended onto the balcony, where a desk was set up. At the opposite end, on an entire wall, a generous storage area was provided, with many cupboards. The glossy white finish amplifies the space and increases brightness.
The color scheme from the living area is also repeated in the bedroom, but slightly more muted. The headboard extends almost to the ceiling, the color combinations and textile shapes creating a real accent zone for a bedroom furnished so simply.
