The designers who worked on this interior design focused on opening up the spaces and creating welcoming and bright environments. The partitions created partially delimit the functions, with the living room and kitchen forming a single unit. At the same time, the kitchen communicates with the hallway through the use of the same type of flooring.
Opening up the living room increases the brightness of the room. Thanks to the finishes and the predominantly white color scheme, the space is amplified. Each area is appropriately lit, from general lighting to ambient or accent lighting designed to highlight parts of the created decor.
For the living room, the design is minimal, with an emphasis on textures. The sofa, rocking chair, overlapping tables, and floor lamp create a comfortable space whether you are receiving guests or reading a book. And since we mentioned books, we like how the bookcase positioning was thought out, consisting of 2 bodies that serve as the basis for an excellent reading corner by the window.
The accent wall contoured with the help of decorative paint contrasts with the wood of the flooring.
The piece of furniture that also includes the television plays a double role: decorative on the one hand, but also a partition, delimiting the living room from the kitchen. The same role is played by the dining area, which marks the transition from the room to the technical space of the kitchen. Choosing a simple table with Eames-type chairs and a suspended light fixture is a pragmatic solution that reminds us of Scandinavian interiors.
In the kitchen, the space is very well optimized, with furniture on 3 sides and built-in appliances for added visual unity in the design. Everything is white, well-lit, and efficient to meet the needs of the beneficiaries. The floor with a geometric pattern breaks up the monotony imposed by the white or gray finishes.
To maintain continuity, the same type of flooring can be found in the hallway leading to the bedroom and bathroom.
