This minimalist dwelling is located in a building that was initially a warehouse, but after the renovation work, the results are amazing: a well-configured space with an elegant and creative vibe. The owner of this loft realized they needed a more relaxed workspace, a comfortable bedroom plus an area for physical exercise.
He made some changes to better adapt the available space to his needs.
The living area received the most attention. This space includes the kitchen, a work area, a relaxation zone, the kitchen, a dining area, and an exercise area. Although this may seem like a lot for a single room, the proportions are so well respected that everything feels natural and the space doesn't appear cluttered at all.
The white walls and the solid, raw wood floor are elements found throughout most of the dwelling. Perhaps the floor, with its industrial look, is all that remains from the old warehouse. Otherwise, the minimalist style is reflected in all interior design elements. Precise shapes, plenty of white, pleasant colors, and well-calculated storage solutions to avoid clutter.
Along one wall, a desk has been installed with a large bookshelf above it. This desk could be the ideal workspace for freelancers or other people who work from home.
Next to the work area, as expected, comes the relaxation zone. Here are placed armchairs with some unusual shapes but which seem very comfortable.
The furniture pieces are also minimalist: a table, an "island" incorporating the stove and sink, and near the "island," a rack where the main cooking utensils are hung.
The space is excellently lit by large, industrial windows that are not covered by curtains. This makes the space appear even brighter. The lighting is equally good at night. We can see chandeliers and bright spotlights in all the places where light might be needed: desk, table, kitchen, and sports area.
The bedroom is also very minimalist. The same white walls, the same solid wood floor, a comfortable bed and a table with decorative objects on it. The system for covering the window is quite ingenious. It involves some interior shutters that cover and insulate very well from outside light.
The bathroom, dressing room, and other storage spaces are all grouped together in one corner. This helps a lot with organization because if you want a particular shirt, you know that everything is in one place and you don't have to search the whole house.
