Designed for a young family, the 3-room apartment was conceived in a modern style with eclectic accents and details, creating an elegant atmosphere without being austere.
The color palette is based on light shades of gray, highlighted by a bold contrast of darker violet hues. As a general rule, the darker shades were used for furniture and decorations.
The strong and varied colors used in the child's room stand out from the overall design pattern and clearly delimit the transition between spaces. Balance is ensured by the white ceiling and the light shade of the parquet flooring. The floral patterned wallpaper, in saturated colors, contributes to creating an energetic, optimistic atmosphere.
To give the sensation of extra space, the same light shade of parquet was chosen for all rooms, except the bathroom and kitchen. This way, the space appears considerably amplified and brighter.
The flooring in the hallway and kitchen is paved with glossy gray tiles, with a marble look, a finish that is also found on the bathroom walls. The bathroom floor has the same texture and color but in a matte version.
In the living room, the wall where the television is mounted is entirely clad in stone, a finish that extends into the niche in the ceiling. The same ceiling niche is mirrored symmetrically on the opposite wall, giving the impression of higher walls. The wallpaper in light shades of gray provides a neutral, calming backdrop for the living room furniture.
The dining area, integrated into the living room, was placed by the window to benefit from the maximum amount of natural light. It is accentuated at ceiling level by a modern suspended lamp.
