The dwelling is part of a residential complex in Bucharest and was fitted out until October 2020 for a private client.

Team Limestudio Architects Silvia Olteanu and Roxana Jipa tell us that they opted for a neutral, natural color palette in this interior design, one that would convey warmth and a feeling of "home.

Within the natural chromatic concept, terracotta (derived from the Italian for burnt earth) predominates as a strong accent that harmonizes the rest of the design elements. In contrast, an intense, cool shade of blue was used for the kitchen furniture.

Considering the reduced surface area of the apartment – 52 square meters distributed in a living room, bedroom, closed kitchen and loggia, bathroom, and hallway – storage spaces were one of the priorities of the interior design. The clients desired a well-organized, functional space where a warm, convivial atmosphere would prevail.

Built-in wardrobes, made to order, represented the ideal solution for solving the storage space problem, being personalized and adapted to the client's needs.

They created a generous storage area in the entrance hall, a line of furniture along the entire width of the living room, and a small cupboard in the niche left from the kitchen wall recess.

Extra storage space was generated by using the footprint of the former loggia access door in the living room; they completed that gap with a built-in bookcase. The wooden shelves and LED backlighting highlight this special detail.

The bathroom was designed minimally, creating the necessary storage without overcrowding the space. The arched mirror with integrated lighting stands out. The gray ceramic tiles, with a blue accent on the sink area, are narrow and their vertical arrangement seems to lengthen the space and give it a unique fluidity.
