Today's apartment story takes us to Targu Mures, where Simona Ungurean proposes a new inspiring design. We are talking about a 3-room apartment with an area of 58 square meters, inhabited by a family with one child. They wanted a bright, modern space in warm and welcoming colors.
Open the Gallery Simona fully understood their needs and proposed an arrangement based on neutral shades, with an emphasis on common areas where the family meets and spends time together. The spaces are fluid and airy, with modern finishes and welcome touches of color.
For the living room, she started with a predominantly neutral base, with darker tones at the level of textiles (see curtains, sofa or rug). Simona opted for furniture with the bare minimum, ensuring storage space and a comfortable conversation area or watching TV. In addition, she managed to integrate a small desk.
The wallpaper model brings an elegant touch to the decor, and the space around the window is beautifully framed with the help of two types of curtains and a radiator cover. The result is a bright, welcoming and tasteful ambiance.
Considering the family's budget, Simona chose to keep the existing parquet and recondition it, and many of the furniture pieces were purchased from IKEA.
In the kitchen, similar shades to those in the living room were chosen so that the entire surface appears larger. The furniture is arranged on two sides for efficient space utilization. Appliances are built-in, keeping everything unified and tidy. For the window area, Simona envisioned a small snack area in addition to the classic dining area.
The master bedroom was designed as a unitary concept, with the bed in the middle and the furniture arranged symmetrically on either side of the bed. Even the headboard was designed as a storage area, and the space between the wardrobes is decorated with a geometric motif in yellow. The wall is matched to the rug both in color and geometric print.
To keep the room as bright as possible, Simona chose white furniture with a glossy MDF front. Overall, the room appears more spacious and cheerful, balanced and chromatically harmonious.
