Today's inspiration comes in the form of a project signed by architects Silvia Coman and Roxana Jipa.Lime Studio We're talking about a 57 square meter apartment inhabited by a 27-year-old woman.
The goal was to create a bright, warm space with a modern design that is easy to personalize and accessorize by the future beneficiary. The apartment is configured as a two-bedroom unit, with an open-plan living area, a separate kitchen, a bedroom, and a bathroom.
Starting with a white base for increased room brightness, Roxana and Silvia envisioned a design characterized by simplicity, integrating the comfort of home into a cheerful color palette.
Living furniture is minimal to keep everything as airy and open as possible. The turquoise sofa (from Mobila Dalin) and the geometric rug catch our attention, both contrasting with the white surfaces of the furniture, which have been given birch wood legs. The coffee table is from Jysk.
The large window allows for a generous amount of natural light, amplifying the feeling of spaciousness. Here, the dining area has been integrated, the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast or a romantic dinner. The table is from Mobexpert.
The design, dictated by budget and the desired atmosphere of the beneficiary, subtly incorporates iconic pieces such as vintage chairs used in the dining area.
The kitchen design blends styles, playing with contrasts between cold and warm materials, resulting in a contemporary look with vintage accents. The long, narrow configuration necessitated a linear arrangement of work zones; on the other side of the kitchen, a long oak wood countertop was integrated, serving as a bar area or space for quick snacks.
The furniture with the grey painted MDF front is from IKEA, as is the countertop. Appliances are built-in to keep everything as unified as possible, and the space between the cabinets is clad in white Metro-style tiles.
