Small apartments have truly conquered us with their smart layouts and original décor. In just 46 square meters, we find a modern, elegant apartment that uses space to maximize the existing perimeter.
Opening the Gallery The separating wall between the living room and bedroom has been removed, but not entirely, replaced by a folding door mechanism. The special effect of these doors is achieved when the folding system is divided into 3 equal sections, leaving the impression that there are 3 separate doors. When closed, the wall isolates the bedroom from the living room.
When fully opened and folded back, the camera instantly takes on different proportions, creating the illusion of a wider space and enhancing the effect of continuity.
The modification made to the apartment partition makes it more welcoming, pleasant, and cheerful. The oak parquet flooring was painted black, which brings an unusual but interesting and slightly sophisticated touch, while also offering a distinct visual contrast.
Combined with the use of strong colors, the apartment thus acquires an unpretentious yet elegant style. To avoid monotony, white and gray are complemented by yellow contrasting with black to amplify the aesthetic of the arrangement. This color combination, used especially in the kitchen, illustrates a contemporary style that attracts through contrasts.
The kitchen island visually separates the space while also functioning as a dining area with bar stools.
Touches of yellow will also be found in the bedroom and bathroom. The design is minimalist, with colors dressing the decor more than any other decorations would. In the living room, note the combination of white curtains and black drapes, especially the two armchairs reupholstered with cheerful fabric. The lighting fixtures arranged intentionally chaotically continue the nonconformist spirit of the design.
It's a youthful space with pleasant, warm accents and an especially intelligent layout. Definitely one of our favorite designs!
